Eden Prairie Community Foundation Announces Dr. Jean L. Harris Scholarship Winner

Eden Prairie Community Foundation’s 2017 Dr. Jean L. Harris Scholarship Award winner has been announced.
According to the Eden Prairie News, Naya Hill, an Eden Prairie High School senior, has been chosen to receive the $1,500 scholarship, which is named in honor of Eden Prairie’s first female and African American mayor.
The scholarship is awarded each year to a high school senior living in Eden Prairie who is judged on several accomplishments including “dedication to promoting human rights and fostering diversity and an inclusive community spirit,” the article said.
