34 Years of Dedication to the Gifted and Talented Program Earns Recognition
For decades of dedicating herself to the gifted students programs at Eden Prairie Schools, Sue Feigal-Hitch was given the Gifted Award. The Minnesota Educators of the Gifted and Talented State Board chooses educators based upon nominations from within their district.
After 34 years, Feigal-Hitch has made an impact in many students’ lives! She is currently the district coordinator for all Eden Prairie Schools. She took the lead in launching the Mosaic program, which allows a full-day classroom experience for gifted elementary students. In addition to her main role, Feigal-Hitch also takes on work as a curriculum developer, teacher trainer and a differentiation specialist.
She is clearly deserving of the award for her on-going determination to make sure these students are getting the education they deserve. Eden Prairie is lucky to have such an outstanding educator in their community! Along with her work at Eden Prairie Schools, she is also an adjunct professor at Hamline University and works as the coordinator of Hamline’s Gifted Certificate Program.
