Eden Prairie Community Service Officers Rescue Two Animals in Five Days

Eden Prairie Police Department Community Service officers seem to be a big fan of animals.

According to the Sun Current, Community Service officers took part in two different animal rescues between July 12 and 16.

The first, according to the report, was the rescue of a blue heron caught in a net intended to keep carp out of Purgatory Creek by officer Spencer Barrie.

The second was the rescue of a kitten from the bumper and wheel well belonging to an Eden Prairie resident by officer Lars Anderson.
