Eden Prairie Firefighter Appointed to State Board
An Eden Prairie firefighter was recently appointed by Gov. Mark Dayton to a state firefighter training and education board.
According to the Eden Prairie News, Eden Prairie Fire Department Assistant Chief Becki White was recently appointed to the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education.
The board is composed of 15 members from fire departments and organizations around the state, and White’s term of service will last four years.
The board’s tasks include ensuring consistent quality and cost-effective training; preserving components of training that work well and funding standardized training, the article said.
