Eden Prairie Resident Receives Award from Mayo
An Eden Prairie resident was recently recognized by the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education with a distinguished award.
According to the Sun Current, Dr. Kalie Yang Kebed recently received the 2015 LeeAnn McCaffrey, M.D. Women in Medicine Award, which recognizes one female resident each year who embodies excellence in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the hospital.
Kebed graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, Twin Cities in 2012 and will finish her three-year internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic in 2015. She will then beging a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Chicago, the newspaper said.
