Eden Prairie Schools to Expand Mosaic Program for Gifted Students

Eden Prairie Schools recently announced that its Mosaic program will be expanding to third- and seventh-grade gifted and talented students next school year.

According to a school release, the program “provides challenging curriculum at an accelerated pace while meeting the unique academic and social/emotional needs of highly gifted learners in a supportive educational environment.”

The third-grade program will be offered at Prairie View and Forest Hills elementary schools, which both have had the program for gifted students in fourth- through sixth-grades. The seventh-grade program will be offered at Central Middle School.

Applications are now being accepted online, and must be completed by Jan. 30, 2015. Information meetings will be held at all the sites in January. For more information, go to the program’s website.
