Eden Prairie to Celebrate Night to Unite Aug. 4
Every year on the first Tuesday of August, Minnesota celebrates Night to Unite. This year’s event is set for Aug. 4 and Eden Prairie is participating again.
As the Minnesota version of National Night Out, Night to Unite is meant to help neighbors spend time together and also promote healthy relationships between citizens and law enforcement.
Residents are are encouraged to participate and register their parties with the city. Eden Prairie law enforcement, firefighters and council members will attempt to visit all registered parties.
In addition, in conjunction with this year’s events, the city is also collecting food donations for People Reaching Out to Other People (PROP). The neighborhood that collects the most food will earn an ice cream social hosted by the police and fire departments.
Parties must be registered by Monday, July 27. To do so, click here.
