Is the Next Miss Minnesota Valley 2013 Queen in Eden Prairie?

Do you know of a girl between the ages of 13-18 who would love becoming a community ambassador and earning college scholarship money at the same time? This is their chance! The Miss MN Valley/Queen of the Seasons program is celebrating its fifth year and is now looking for their 2013 Queens of the season!

The Miss Minnesota Valley is a scholars program and is currently looking for girls who reside or attend school in Eden Prairie. This is a great opportunity for girls to represent the MN valley area of Chanhassen. If crowned the girls will learn valuable lessons as they volunteer around the community, are in parades, and support other royalties by going to their coronations

Interested Candidates:
Must attend a mandatory informational meeting on either March 19 at 6 p.m. or April 2 at 6 p.m. at the Shakopee Police Department, 475 Gorman St.

This is NOT a normal beauty pageant or talent contest!!

Candidates are judged/selected according to the following:
– One-page written essay
– Involvement in candidate events
– Candidate/parent interview, and sponsor jingle.

On Aug. 23, candidates with the highest scores will be selected to be active royalty participants in the program for one year. Once crowned, they are involved in volunteering, fundraising, parades, coronations, as well as learning about each town’s historical background and local businesses!
