Win the Challenge for Water Conservation and Learn to Save Energy for Future Generations
Take the challenge! It is not a difficult one to do, unless you like to take long showers, but the city of Eden Prairie is encouraging residents to conserve our greatest natural resource: water. Known as the Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation, residents will have a chance to make a small difference in this big world!
There is, in fact, an online challenge you can sign up to do. The competition will be between cities across the entire country that are also participating in this environment-friendly event. Can you be the most “water-wise”? Go to www.mywaterpledge.com to make a pledge to conserve throughout the month of April! Residents can take easy steps such as washing full loads of laundry, fixing leaky faucets, and even walking or biking instead of driving short distances.
Join others in making sure Eden Prairie can be the winning city to conserve the most energy! Beyond the competition, learning from the experience is the most important thing we can all take away from this month. Teach your children how essential it is to preserve the great resources we have in our community, and how lucky we are to have them.
